Identifying signs of borderline personality disorder

At The Path To Hope and Healing we would love to be a part of your life changing process towards self love, relationship improvements and overall wellness.

We've selected some preliminary questions you can ask yourself or a loved one if you think you may have the Mental Health Illness called Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

  • Do you feel your emotions are in the driver's seat?

  • Are you experiencing irrational emotions? Your mind says I shouldn’t feel this way but your gut says otherwise.

  • Are your moods riding a never ending rollercoaster?

  • Strong fear of abandonment rejection?

  • Difficulty maintaining healthy relationships?

  • Find yourself doing self harming behaviors (cutting, burning, sabotaging relationships, jobs or progress)

  • Impulsive and/or risky behaviors (shoplifting, gambling, unsafe sex, or substance abuse?

  • Struggling with “I’m not good enough”, “not lovable” or”not worthy”or other self loathing thoughts.

It can be treated, there is hope, there is a path…

At The Path To Hope and Healing we implement Dialectical Behavioral Therapy also known as DBT in the treatment of BPD.
