I have heard this way too many times... If someone says they want to commit suicide then they really won't... NOT TRUE!
Talking about suicide, not living, wishing they were dead, stopped existing.. .you get the point... any indication of suicidal thoughts is something to consider important.
Sleep, eat and hygiene issues
Isolating
Significant behavioral and/or mood changes
Stops caring and/or enjoying what they used to
Making preparations for death: a will, giving away possessions, writing goodbye letters, etc
Risky activities and behaviors such as drug use and gambling
If you or a loved one is at risk please call the National SUICIDE PREVENTION Lifeline at
800-273-8255.
It can be treated, there is hope, there is a path… Book your appointment now!
The path uses DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
